KOSHI HARAICHA, KOSHI PROVINCE – In preparation for the upcoming April 27th by-election, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) will convene a Central Committee (CC) meeting tomorrow. Central member and RSP lawmaker Sobita Gautam confirmed the meeting’s focus on strategy and planning for the by-election.
“The meeting has been called to discuss pertinent matters related to the by-election to be held in Ilam Constituency-2,” Gautam explained.
The RSP is actively preparing for the Ilam-2 election, with Joint General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti serving as election commander and overseeing on-the-ground efforts. Preceding the Central Committee meeting, six RSP lawmakers were sent to Ilam to assess public opinion on potential candidates and key issues.
The Central Committee’s discussion on Monday will include a review of the lawmakers’ findings, potentially impacting candidate selection and campaign messaging. This meeting signals the RSP’s serious approach as they gear up to contest the vacant Ilam-2 seat.
