Ruling Coalition to Release Common Minimum Program Today

After a brief delay, Nepal’s ruling coalition is set to unveil its much-anticipated Common Minimum Program (CMP) today. The program, developed by a 10-member task force from the five ruling parties, outlines the coalition’s key priorities for governance.

The CMP’s release was initially scheduled for Sunday but faced unforeseen delays. A finalized draft of the program was presented to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and other senior leaders for discussion on Saturday.

The finalized program outlines a comprehensive plan for addressing national concerns. According to task force coordinator Bishnu Paudel (CPN-UML), the program focuses on upholding the constitution, driving economic growth, resolving economic issues, and rebuilding public confidence.
