A 44-year-old man died after being electrocuted in Lamjung’s Madhya Nepal Municipality-2, Skultar, on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Lamjung District Police Office, Upendra Soti, a resident of Byas Municipality-8 in Tanahun, was electrocuted while pulling a railing pipe on the roof of Purnakant Soti’s house in Skultar around 3 pm.
Soti was severely injured after coming into contact with a live wire and was immediately taken to the local Duipiple Hospital in Lamjung for treatment.
However, the doctors at the hospital declared him dead upon examination, the police said.
The police are currently conducting further investigations into the incident.
