Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has recently mandated that all fruit and vegetable shops, nurseries, cold stores, as well as meat and fish vendors operating within its boundaries must complete registration within a 15-day timeframe.
The municipal government has emphasized the importance of timely registration, urging these businesses to swiftly provide their information to the Department of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry of the metropolis.
Non-compliance with this directive and continuing to operate without proper registration will lead to legal repercussions, cautioned the local authorities.
