Anjan Shakya is set to become a member of the National Assembly following a decision by the Council of Ministers. During their Friday meeting, the Council agreed to propose Shakya for a presidential nomination to the National Assembly.
Shakya, affiliated with the UML foreign affairs department, previously served as Nepal’s ambassador to Israel.
