A fatal accident occurred in central Delhi on Friday morning when a private school bus collided with a scooter and an auto-rickshaw. The scooter rider, Abhishek Jain from the Brahmpuri area, tragically died from his injuries. Five others were injured, including the auto-rickshaw driver, Mahesh Kumar, and the bus driver, Shiv Kumar. Both are receiving hospital treatment. Three schoolchildren aboard the bus suffered minor injuries.
The accident happened near ITO around 7:30 a.m. Police reports indicate the bus driver failed to stop at a red light. An investigation is ongoing, and a case is being registered under relevant sections of the IPC (Indian Penal Code).
