Tanahun, Nepal – Four people were injured in a six-vehicle collision that occurred on the Prithvi Highway in Bandipur Rural Municipality-1 Rimalni, Tanahun district.
The incident unfolded when a bus (Na 5 Kha 2034) traveling from Pokhara towards Anbukhaireni collided with a truck (Ga 2 Kha 1390). The impact of the initial collision caused the bus to careen into a following jeep (Ga 3 Cha 8390).
The chain reaction continued as the struck jeep then hit a bus (Ga 1 Kha 9561), another jeep (Na 1 Cha 8434), and finally a microbus (Na 2 Kha 3789), according to the Tanahun District Police.
Police have apprehended the driver and impounded the bus that initiated the accident. All involved vehicles sustained damage. The injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at Laxmi City Hospital.
