Kathmandu. Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki has awarded promotion badges to 10 technical police officers who have been promoted to various ranks. The promotion ceremony was held at the Police Headquarters.

One officer has been promoted from Technical Police Inspector to Technical Police Senior Inspector, four from Technical Police Sub-Inspector to Technical Police Inspector, four from Technical Police Assistant Sub-Inspector to Technical Police Sub-Inspector, and one from Technical Police Senior Assistant Inspector to Technical Police Assistant Sub-Inspector.

The promoted officers include Technical Police Senior Inspector Damodar Kandel, Technical Police Inspectors Amarendra Prasad Singh, Ram Babu Rana, Abhay Kumar Jha, and Anup Shrestha, Technical Police Sub-Inspectors Nisha Chaudhary, Sanjiv Dahal, Ramesh Kumar Sah, and Anjan Raj Kharel, and Technical Police Inspector Min Prasad Khatri.

IGP Karki’s Remarks

During the promotion ceremony, Inspector General Karki emphasized the crucial role of the technical group in making daily service flow effective, maintaining peace and security, controlling crime, and conducting investigations. He urged the promoted officers to work diligently to enhance the prestige and reputation of the police organization.

Promoted Officer’s Commitment

On behalf of the promoted officers, Technical Police Senior Inspector Damodar Kandel expressed their commitment to discharge their duties with honesty, impartiality, discipline, professionalism, and a service-oriented approach, upholding the dignity and prestige of the police organization.

The ceremony was attended by senior police officers and personnel.
