Security at Tribhuvan International Airport has been tightened ahead of the return of Nepali Congress’s former president, Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Deuba, who had gone to Singapore in Falgun, is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu today at around 12:30 pm.
According to sources, the airport’s security has been beefed up in anticipation of Deuba’s return.
Security personnel have been deployed at the airport gate, and the surrounding areas are being closely monitored.
Deuba’s return is expected to draw a large crowd, and the authorities are taking no chances to ensure his safety and security.
