A tipper accident near Manthalighat in Manthali Municipality-7 of Ramechhap has resulted in the death of the driver. The victim, identified as 23-year-old Pabitra Basnet of Gokulganga Rural Municipality-3, died on the spot.
The co-driver, 21-year-old Manoj Phuyal of Tamakoshi Rural Municipality-6 in Dolakha, sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at Manthali Municipality Hospital.
According to police reports, the sand-laden tipper (Ba Pra 01-006-3839) was traveling from Bhatauli to Manthali when it veered off the road and plunged approximately 50 meters into the Tamakoshi River.
