Heavy rain has delayed the start of the ACC Premier Cup match between Nepal and Hong Kong at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground-1 in Oman. The match, originally scheduled for 11:45 PM, is now in question as the pitch remains covered. Officials are working to dry the field and will aim to reduce the overs and start the game as soon as possible.

The toss for the match will also be delayed until the rain stops. Both teams are on the ground, awaiting the opportunity to play as temperatures rise in Oman.

Nepal is aiming to secure a win against Hong Kong, which would solidify their path to the tournament’s semi-finals. They’ve already defeated Malaysia and Qatar in previous matches. Hong Kong comes into the match after a victory over Qatar but a defeat to Saudi Arabia.
