A remarkable 6,438 devotees flocked to the renowned Pathibhara (Mukumalung) pilgrimage site in Taplejung on Saturday, 8th Baisakh. The Pathibhara Area Development Committee attributes the influx to both the significance of Chaite Dashain worship and favorable weather conditions. Saturdays and Tuesdays typically see the highest number of pilgrims at the temple.
The temple welcomes local and foreign devotees year-round. To accommodate the surge, the committee has deployed additional resources to ensure a smooth worship experience for all.
Statistics released by the committee reveal that 168,468 devotees have visited and offered prayers at Pathibhara during the current fiscal year, with significant increases in recent months.
