Savin Tamang and Rohit Kshetri of the Nepal Sports Council (NSC) have reached the final of the Nepal Top 16 Grand Masters Snooker Championship.

Savin Tamang defeated Nepal’s number one player, Wangchu Tamang, 5-4 in the semifinals to move closer to the title.

In another semifinal match, Rohit Kshetri defeated Rajan Gurung 5-2 to secure his spot in the final against Savin on Saturday.

The tournament is being organized by the Kathmandu Sports Council (KSC) at its premises in Tripureshwar.

Wangchu Tamang, Nepal’s number one player, failed to reach the final after losing to Savin in the semifinals.

The winner of the tournament will receive a cash prize of Rs 111,111 and the championship trophy, while the runner-up will receive Rs 51,000 and a trophy.

The two semifinalists will each receive Rs 25,000 and a trophy.

The organizers have also announced that the player who achieves a century break will receive Rs 25,000 and a trophy, while the player who achieves the highest break of 80 points or more will receive Rs 20,000 and a trophy.
