Four individuals severely injured in a Salyan bus accident Wednesday morning have been transferred to the Kohalpur Teaching Hospital in Banke for specialized treatment. The injured include Bishnu BK (46), Chitra Pun (22), her son Ramesh Pun (6), and Krishna Chaudhary (29).
Initially treated at local medical facilities, the four required more advanced care, prompting the transfer. An additional ten injured passengers remain under treatment at the Tharmare Primary Health Center and a local polyclinic.
The accident involved a passenger bus traveling from Ghorahi in Dang to East Rukum. It occurred in Salyan’s Bagchaur Municipality-2, Thinbang River area. A total of 22 passengers were injured, with eight receiving minor treatment and returning home.
