Nepali cricket star Dipendra Singh Airee has made significant strides in the latest T20 rankings, securing the title of the number one all-rounder among associate nations. He stands at an impressive 11th place globally, with Test nation players occupying the top 10 spots.
Airee’s remarkable achievement comes after a 14-place jump in the all-rounder rankings. He now surpasses Namibia’s Gerhard Erasmus, who holds the 13th position among associate nations. Australia’s Mitchell Marsh stands at 12th overall.
Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan remains the top-ranked all-rounder worldwide.
While no Nepali bowler has yet reached the top 100 in T20 bowling, there’s been positive movement in the batting rankings. Captain Rohit Paudel slipped two places to 54th, while Airee climbed 16 places to reach 62nd. Aasif Sheikh made a significant leap of 36 places, cracking the top 100, and Kushal Malla improved by 9 places to reach 100th.
