President Ram Chandra Poudel has departed for Geneva, Switzerland, to lead the Nepali delegation at the 112th session of the International Labor Conference.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that President Poudel is slated to deliver a keynote speech at the inaugural forum of the ‘Global Alliance for Social Justice,’ which will take place during a high-level session on June 13th.
During his visit, President Poudel is also scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Viola Amherd, President of the Swiss Confederation, on June 12th. This meeting is notable as it marks the first time a Head of State of Nepal will engage in a bilateral discussion with the President of the Swiss Confederation.
