Kathmandu, Nepal – January 14, 2024: The Constitutional Lawyers’ Forum (ClaF), a prominent expert organization in Nepal, held its 21st General Assembly and elected a new executive team to lead the organization into the future. In a vibrant democratic process, Advocate Om Prakash Aryal emerged as the new Chair, taking the helm to steer ClaF’s crucial role in safeguarding Nepal’s constitutional landscape.

Alongside Aryal, the General Assembly elected Sarmila Shrestha as Vice Chair, entrusted with supporting the Chair in carrying out ClaF’s mission. Liladhar Upadhyay was chosen as General Secretary, responsible for the organization’s administrative functioning, and Roshan Pokharel was elected Treasurer to oversee financial matters. Dinesh Tripathi, Amar Bahadur Raut, Roshni Paudyal, and Pawan Kumar Jaiswal were also elected as members, bringing diverse expertise and perspectives to the governing body.
