Nepal’s Hello Government portal has received over 6,000 complaints in just one week, according to the Prime Minister’s Office. The portal and phone service, which allows citizens to file complaints and suggestions, received a total of 6,608 complaints.

Of these, 3,496 complaints were filed through the portal, while the remaining 3,112 were received through phone calls. The Prime Minister’s Office has forwarded 2,225 complaints to the relevant authorities for action.

According to the office’s spokesperson, Hemraj Aryal, 2,021 complaints have been resolved through the portal, while 981 complaints have been rejected. The office has also announced that it will make public the progress of work done every Friday.

The Hello Government portal was launched to provide citizens with a platform to file complaints and suggestions, and to increase transparency and accountability in the government.
