Everest Volleyball Club, bolstered by three Indian players, secured a thrilling 3-1 victory over Nepal Police Club in the women’s final of the RBB 8th NVA Volleyball Championship. The final set scores were 19-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-19.
The match was a back-and-forth affair. Police took an early lead in the first set, but Everest rallied thanks to strong performances from Indian players Jancy Johnson, KP Anushree, and Surya. Police eventually claimed the first set 25-19.
Everest stormed back in the second set, showcasing their resilience. After a closely contested battle, they leveled the match with a 25-22 victory.
Everest continued to dominate in the third set, building a significant lead and ultimately taking it 25-18. The momentum carried into the fourth set, where Everest confidently sealed their championship win.
In a separate match, the Nepal Police Club secured third place with a 3-0 victory over Gandaki Pradesh.
