Nepal’s floriculture industry is set to get a boost with the upcoming ’19th Godavari Flower Competitive Exhibition–2083′, organized by Floriculture Association Nepal (FAN). The event, which will be held from 12 to 16 Kartik at Jawalakhel Sports Ground in Lalitpur, aims to promote Nepal’s flower business.

The exhibition, which is considered Nepal’s largest and most prestigious flower exhibition, will feature around 90 stalls showcasing various types of flowers, plants, and gardening tools. The event will also include a competition in five different categories, including incurve, reflex, spider, miniature, and cut flowers.

Organizers have announced that the exhibition will be open to visitors from 9 am to 5 pm every day. The event is expected to attract flower farmers, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts from across the country.

In addition to the exhibition, the event will also feature a platform for flower business owners to share knowledge and ideas on modern farming techniques, market management, and business opportunities. Visitors will also have the opportunity to consult with experts in the field.

Booking for stalls has already begun, with members of the association able to book from Ashar 1 and non-members from Ashar 8. The stall fee has been set at Rs 25,000 for members and Rs 50,000 for non-members.

FAN has urged flower business owners, farmers, entrepreneurs, and the general public to participate in the exhibition and contribute to the development of Nepal’s flower industry.

The exhibition is expected to play a significant role in balancing the demand and supply of flowers in the Nepali market, especially during the upcoming Tihar festival.
