Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) has launched its eighth sales center in Baneshwor, Kathmandu, with the aim of making milk and dairy products easily accessible to consumers.

DDC Managing Director Dr. Sharankumar Pande inaugurated the sales center, stating that the expansion of such centers will facilitate the smooth supply of products from producers to consumers.

This initiative is expected to ensure a market for milk produced by farmers and increase the consumption of domestic dairy products, according to Dr. Pande.

Consumers can now purchase various dairy products from the corporation at a single location, he added.

Dr. Pande also revealed plans to open similar centers in other locations in the future, based on market demand and consumer needs.

The launch of the new center in Baneshwor has brought the total number of DDC’s official sales centers to eight.

The corporation views the expansion of its sales centers as a key strategy to ensure a market for farmers and provide high-quality domestic products to consumers.
