Following the termination of its alliance with the CPN (Maoist Center), the Nepali Congress has opted to withdraw its support from the government in Karnali Province.

Consequently, three ministers representing the party in the provincial assembly have submitted their resignations. Currently holding 14 seats in the assembly, the departing ministers include Finance Minister Bedh Raj Singh, Minister for Social Development Khadka Bahadur Pokharel, and Tourism Minister Krishna Kumar BC.

This decision came in response to the CPN (Maoist Center) forming a new coalition with CPN-UML, JSP, and RSP, leading to the dissolution of the alliance previously led by the Nepali Congress.
