Two high-ranking officials at Nepal’s Health Ministry have taken their oath of office. Dr. Aashish Govind Amatya, the newly appointed director of Sahid Gangalal National Heart Centre, and Dr. Harish Singh Thapa, the registrar of Nepal Pharmacy Council, took their oath in the presence of Health and Food Safety Minister Nisha Mehta.
The ceremony was held at the Health Ministry in Kathmandu, and both officials assumed their duties immediately after. Their appointments were made during a recent cabinet meeting.
