A 35-year-old man has been arrested in Dhangadhi on charges of duping a job seeker with promises of recruitment in the Nepal Army.
According to Kailash Bishwa, Inspector at the District Police Office, the accused, Harish Chand, a resident of Belauri Municipality-8 in Kanchanpur, had allegedly taken Rs 240,000 from the victim.
Chand was taken into custody and further investigation is underway, police said.
