Nepali opener Kushal Bhurtel etched his name in cricket history by surpassing the 1,000-run mark in his T20 International career. This milestone came during the triangular series against Papua New Guinea, where Bhurtel scored a blistering 59 off just 39 balls.
Bhurtel’s impressive tally includes 101 fours, 44 sixes, a century, and eight half-centuries across 36 matches. He joins Dipendra Singh Airee as the only Nepali batsman to achieve this feat.
