Nepal made a powerful start in their match against Papua New Guinea (PNG), securing two crucial wickets during the powerplay. After losing the toss and batting first, Nepal put up an impressive total of 198 runs with the loss of 6 wickets.

Pratish GC struck early for Nepal, delivering the first wicket. Sese Bau’s resistance ended with a run-out after scoring 21 runs. PNG opener Tony Ura also departed after contributing 13 runs.

Assad Vala and Hiri Hiri are currently building a partnership for PNG with 3 and 18 runs, respectively. Despite the early blows, PNG managed to score 57 runs in the powerplay.
