The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has recommended Hasina Khan of Banke to fill a vacant proportional Member of Parliament (MP) seat. The vacancy follows the recent death of Manju Sharma Ansari, who filled a seat left open by the passing of Shahnaz Rahman.
JSP Publicity and Publication Department Head Purna Basnet confirmed the 27-year-old Khan’s nomination by the Central Executive Committee. Khan was included in the party’s proportional Muslim women cluster list submitted to the Election Commission.
