A total of four bills were presented in the meeting of the House of Representatives held today. Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sovita Gautam presented the ‘Constitutional Bodies’ Officials’ Remuneration, Service Conditions and Facilities Related (First Amendment) Bill, 2083′ on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah.

Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal presented the ‘Passport (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’, while Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Social Security Sita Paudel presented the ‘Human Trafficking and Smuggling (Control) (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’. Similarly, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari presented the ‘Mines and Minerals Bill, 2083’.

Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal announced that the proposal to present the bills was unanimously approved as no member had objected to the presentation of the bills. Chairman of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee Hari Dhakal presented the committee’s report on reviving the previous provisions of the ‘Nepal Special Service Act, 2042’.

The next meeting of the House of Representatives will be held on Shrawan 25 at 1:00 pm.
