Dr Harish Singh Thapa has been appointed as the Registrar of the Nepal Pharmacy Council. Following his appointment, Dr Thapa took the oath of office and secrecy before Minister of Health and Food Technology Nisha Meheta on Friday.
Dr Thapa’s appointment comes as part of the council’s efforts to strengthen its leadership and ensure the effective regulation of the pharmacy sector in Nepal.
The Nepal Pharmacy Council is responsible for regulating the pharmacy profession and ensuring that pharmacists in the country adhere to high standards of practice. As Registrar, Dr Thapa will play a key role in overseeing the council’s activities and ensuring that its objectives are met.
