The death toll from Sunday morning’s truck accident in Dhading has risen to two. Ram Bahadur Ramtel (known as Gopi) has tragically passed away while undergoing treatment for his injuries. This follows the earlier death of 11-year-old Santosh Ramtel, who died at the scene of the accident.
The crash wounded six additional individuals: Hira Ramtel, Bimal Majkoti, Pritam Ramtel, Sujan Samtel, Bishnu Ramtel, and Sujit Majkoti. All are residents of Nilkantha Municipality-5.
Gagan Adhikari, Acting Director of District Hospital Dhading, reports that three of the injured remain in serious condition. The truck, carrying fertilizer (Ba 3 Ba 8947), veered off the road on Sunday morning.
