Animal lovers in Nepal protested outside the WWF office in Baluwatar after three tigers died in captivity at Parsa National Park (PNP). The protesters expressed outrage over the deaths, carrying placards with messages demanding an end to animal cruelty.
The tigers, originally rescued from other areas, had been placed in a cage designed for only two animals. The PNP administration suggests the tigers may have died from illness brought on by the overcrowded conditions. Protesters demanded greater protection for captive animals and an end to practices that threaten their well-being.
