Kathmandu is set to host the 10th season of ‘Model Hunt Nepal’, a fashion modeling competition that aims to produce professional models. This year, 42 contestants – 26 women and 16 men – have been selected through auditions to compete for the title.
The selected contestants will undergo a month-long training program that includes personality development, physical fitness, ramp walk, body language, photo shoots, and expression classes. The training is designed to prepare them for the final round of the competition.
The winner of ‘Model Hunt Nepal 2026’ will receive a cash prize of Rs 500,000 and an opportunity to represent Nepal at the ‘Miss and Mister Celebrity International’ pageant to be held in Cambodia in September.
According to Ravi Dhamala, president of Next Models Nepal, the organizers of the event, ‘Model Hunt Nepal’ has been held annually for the past 10 years with the objective of producing professional models. The final round of the competition is scheduled to take place on July 24, or Ashar 8, 2083.
