A total of 325 Afghan refugees who were released from various prisons in Pakistan have returned to Afghanistan, according to the country’s Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation.

The refugees, who were detained in Pakistani prisons for varying periods of time, crossed the border at the Torkham and Spin Boldak border crossings after being released.

The returnees include families, children, and individuals who were imprisoned in Pakistan for different reasons.

Upon their arrival, the returnees received essential assistance and support from various partner organizations before proceeding to their homes.
