Gauri Devi, a 36-year-old resident of Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city-20 Rupetha, tragically died from an electric shock this morning at 6:50 AM. District Police Office Dhanusha spokesperson, DSP Ranjan Awa, confirmed the incident occurred while she was disconnecting the charging cable from her e-rickshaw.
She was rushed to Neuro Hospital for treatment, but doctors pronounced her dead.
The body is currently at Janakpur Provincial Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The District Police Office Dhanusha is conducting further investigations into the incident.
