US Vice President JD Vance has described Israel as a strong partner and ally, acknowledging that even close friends can have differences of opinion.
In an interview with Fox News, Vance revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not express opposition to him during their meeting at Blair House.
Contrary to earlier reports suggesting Netanyahu had opposed Vance, the US Vice President clarified that their meeting was cordial.
Vance also touched upon the situation in Iran, stating that one faction in the country is in favor of negotiations, while another extremist group wants to prolong the conflict.
“There will be ups and downs in the process of conflict and negotiations with Iran, but the outcome will be in the best interest of the American people,” Vance said.
Meanwhile, reports have emerged that Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf may visit Pakistan in the coming days, although no official confirmation has been made by Iran so far.
