US-Iran War Live News: The growing confrontation between Washington, Tel Aviv and Tehran has opened another diplomatic and political front, with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi challenging US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over their hardline approach toward Iran.
Araghchi’s remarks followed Trump’s public endorsement of Netanyahu ahead of Israel’s October 27 election, adding fresh tension to an already fragile situation as negotiations over the Strait of Hormuz remain unresolved.
Meanwhile, a new US opinion poll has pointed to mounting domestic pressure on Trump, with his approval rating falling to its lowest level.

US-Iran War News: Araghchi Warns Trump and Netanyahu Against Another War
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has challenged Washington and Tel Aviv to risk another confrontation with Tehran, warning that Iran has its own unfinished business. His comments came after Trump threatened that the United States and its allies could soon “finish the job” against Iran unless the country changed its course.
In a post on X, Araghchi responded to the US president’s remarks by arguing that the previous attempt to defeat Iran had left the country stronger rather than weaker.
“Last time you wanted to ‘finish the job’, Iran emerged even stronger. Want to try your luck again? Be our guest. But be careful; we have unfinished jobs too,” he wrote.
The Iranian foreign minister’s message signalled that Tehran was not backing down despite continuing military and diplomatic pressure from the United States and Israel. His remarks also came as both countries remained at odds over Iran’s military capabilities, nuclear ambitions and regional influence.
US-Iran War Live News: Iran Accuses Netanyahu of Pulling Trump Into Another War
Araghchi also accused Netanyahu of pushing the United States towards another conflict with Iran to protect his own political position. He suggested that the Israeli prime minister was prepared to risk consequences for both countries to avoid facing legal trouble at home.
“Netanyahu is driving America into another war to stay out of jail, whatever the consequences for Israel—let alone POTUS,” Araghchi wrote.
The accusation came after Trump publicly backed Netanyahu’s bid for re-election. The Iranian minister’s response highlighted Tehran’s opposition to the close military and political partnership between the two leaders, particularly as the war and negotiations over its future continue.
Netanyahu has faced domestic and international criticism over his government’s handling of security and the wider regional conflict. However, Trump’s endorsement offered him public support from a key ally just days before Israeli voters head to the polls on October 27.
