Two soldiers were injured in a grenade accident during a Nepal Army training exercise in Godawari, Kailali. The incident occurred at the Van Devi Firing Range, where the Devi Dal Battalion was conducting military training.

Assistant soldiers Bikram Karki, 30, and Ranjit Tharu, 20, were injured in the accident, according to the police. Their condition is reported to be moderate.

The injured soldiers were initially taken to the Boradandi-based hospital in Dhangadhi for treatment and later airlifted to Kathmandu by a Nepal Army sky truck for further treatment, said Inspector Kailash Bista of the District Police Office.
