According to the District Police Office, the three youths were reported missing by their families after their mobile phones went out of reach on Wednesday morning at 8:00 am. A search operation was launched by the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, and local police to locate the missing trekkers.

The youths were found in the jungle near Badal Danda in Mardi Himal by a team of police personnel from the Ghachok Police Post. They were reported to be in good health and were being rescued, said Police Inspector Birendra Kumar Paswan.
