A tragic accident occurred this morning in the Mathagadhi Municipality-5 Artokaghat area of Palpa, Nepal. A tipper truck (registration number Lu 2 Kha 561) was involved in an accident at around 9 am, resulting in the deaths of both the driver and co-driver.
The deceased has been identified as Pradeep Kumal (24) and Manish Pariyar (18), both residents of Tilottama Municipality-16 in Rupandehi. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sugandha Shrestha of the District Police Office Palpa confirmed that both individuals died at the scene of the accident.
A police team led by an inspector from the District Police Office Palpa has been dispatched to the site of the accident. An investigation into the cause of the incident is currently underway.
