Two brothers tragically lost their lives after drowning while swimming in the Babai River at Odale Ghat in Babai Rural Municipality-7, Dang on Tuesday.
Deepak Pariyar, 18, and Dipesh Pariyar, 16, had traveled from India to visit their aunt’s home when the incident occurred, as confirmed by Police Inspector Ajay Jung Thapa from the District Police Office, Khalatpur.
Deepak tragically passed away while receiving treatment at the provincial hospital in Tulsipur, while Dipesh was declared dead at the scene. The family of the deceased had been residing in India for work.
