The Weather Forecast Division has announced that a combination of local air, westerly winds, and a low-pressure system near Bihar, India, is currently influencing Nepal’s weather patterns.
While hilly areas, including Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, along with the Terai region, are mostly clear, cloud cover is expected to increase throughout the afternoon. Light rain accompanied by thunder and gusty winds is possible in a few locations within the Koshi region and hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.
Additionally, there is a chance of light snowfall in some high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali. Tonight, partly cloudy skies will persist in these hilly regions, with light snowfall still possible at higher elevations.
