A 25-year-old man, Narendra Prasad Bhatta of Dilasaini rural municipality-1, Baitadi tragically died after being hit by a tractor. The incident occurred near the Dilasaini-1 ward office at Basantpur Tufan Danda Bram.
Police Inspector Khem Bikram KC, spokesperson for the Baitadi Police, reported that Bhatta was a passenger on the tractor (No. Su Pra Pa 01002 Ta 4686) when he fell. The vehicle’s rear tire then struck him, resulting in his death at the scene.
Authorities from the border police station and Patan area police office responded to the accident. The District Police Office Baitadi is conducting further investigations into the incident.
