Nepal’s Department of Water and Meteorology forecasts a mix of weather conditions today due to the combined influence of local air, westerly winds, and a low-pressure system near Bihar.
Currently, partly cloudy skies prevail in the hilly regions of Koshi Province, while the rest of the country experiences mostly clear weather.
This afternoon, however, a shift is expected, with the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Koshi regions transitioning to partly cloudy or normal conditions. There’s a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places across these regions, with a possibility of isolated showers elsewhere.
For residents in Lumbini, Karnali, and parts of the western region, the forecast includes the possibility of thunderstorms.
Tonight, skies are expected to clear partially to mostly in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Koshi regions. However, there remains a chance of isolated light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in Koshi Province and a few other scattered areas.
