Swollen Budhigandaki poses high risk of flood in Benighat and Muglin

KATHMANDU: Flood risk has heightened in the area between Benighat and Muglin after the water level of the Budhigandaki River exceeded the danger line.

The Flood Forecasting Division has urged people residing in Benighat area, where the risk is high, to move immediately to safer, higher places.

People living near river areas in Chitwan and Nawalparasi have also been advised to remain alert, as there is a moderate risk of flooding in such areas.
