A cooker bomb exploded at the Nepal Telecom (NTC) tower in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-1, Sindhuli, causing minor damage to the facility. The blast occurred around 3 am on Friday at the tower complex in BP Park.
Local police (DSP Chiranjibi Dahal) confirmed the incident, stating that the windows of a building within the tower complex sustained minor damage. The telecom tower itself remained unharmed.
Police responded promptly to the scene, uncovering remnants of the cooker bomb, empty petrol bottles, and a leaflet attributed to the Jana Mukti Sena. Investigations are underway to identify those responsible for the attack.
