The board has provided training and guidance to examination staff to ensure the SEE is conducted in a fair and orderly manner. A total of 514,444 students from 10,806 schools are registered to take the exam across 2,064 designated examination centers. Kathmandu district has the most centers (127), while Manang and Mustang districts each have only one. This year’s SEE will also include 23 participants from Japan.

Importantly, the new “Letter Grading Directory 2078” is in effect. To gain admission into class 11, students must achieve a minimum of 35 marks in theory exams and 40 marks in practical exams.
