A missile attack on a Saudi Aramco administrative building in Dhahran has raised fresh security concerns as fighting between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthi rebels intensifies. Saudi authorities reported a limited fire and no casualties, while a company source cited by Reuters said the office tower’s top three floors were damaged.
The complex houses a major operations centre for Aramco, which manages extensive oil production, pipeline, refining and export infrastructure. Saudi authorities also reported intercepting missiles and drones over Riyadh and other parts of the kingdom.
Saudi Arabia Warns Houthis After Fresh Attacks
Saudi Arabia’s leadership has warned the Houthis of consequences following repeated missile and drone attacks on key targets. The latest incident follows threats by Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree, who warned of retaliation against Saudi-led operations in Yemen and identified Aramco facilities among potential targets.
