Salyan police have arrested a 50-year-old man, Nandalal Roka, for allegedly attacking his wife with an axe during a domestic dispute. The incident occurred in Sharda Municipality-8 Simkharka on Saturday night.
The victim, 47-year-old Kali Roka, suffered head injuries in the attack and is receiving treatment at District Hospital Salyan. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Nabin Karki, her condition is now stable and out of danger.
Nandalal Roka is in police custody, and the incident remains under investigation.
