A fire broke out on a residential terrace in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-17 on Sunday, injuring five members of the same family. The incident occurred near a mobile store, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
The injured individuals have been identified as Sanjay Giri, his wife Rupa Giri, and their three children: Nit (15), Priya (8), and Elisa (3). All five were transported to Kist Hospital for treatment.
District Police Complex Lalitpur spokesperson, SP Nareshraj Subedi, confirmed the fire and the resulting injuries. The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation, and firefighters are working diligently to extinguish the flames.
