A fire in Tar Simanti, Ramechhap municipality-9, has destroyed 14 houses and 12 sheds, resulting in the deaths of over 60 goats and six cattle. The blaze is believed to have originated from a spreading forest fire in the area, which is home to Newar and Tamang communities.

Emergency teams led by Ramechhap Municipality Chief Laba Shree Neupane, including the Nepali Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police, responded swiftly and extinguished the fire. A full assessment of the damage is still underway, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Hom Bahadur Parajuli.
